Meet Megan! She has been working behind the chair since 2015. Her speciality is timeless, lived-in, seamless color, with an additional speciality in high-end bridal styling. One of Megan’s favorite ways to give back to the beauty industry is connecting and educating fellow artists and salons across the Midwest. With a degree in Fine Art, she considers her career as a mastery in her art education. She loves spending time with her family and friends, working on fun projects, loving on animals, planning memorable experiences for people, and traveling.

Meet Autumn! Her journey into the industry began early when she enrolled into a cosmetology program through her high school in 2021, where she truly fell in love with the creativity, connection, and helping people feel confident. When she graduated from school in June of 2023, she began assisting at Catbird Seat Salon, where she truly began to refine her skills. In July of 2024, she transitioned fully onto the floor as a stylist. She's known for her bright blondes, lived in blondes & dimensional brunettes. She offers hand-tied weft extensions & k-tip extensions, creating customized transformations that prioritize hair health & confidence.

 Autumn is passionate about building genuine connections and creating a warm welcoming atmosphere for all of her guests. When she's not in the salon, you'll find her living life outdoors with her dog, whether that's camping, hiking, fishing, or exploring new national parks with her family.

Meet Olivia! She is a passionate hairstylist who began her cosmetology journey in January of 2023 with a strong love for all things hair. Shortly after starting school, she joined Catbird Seat Salon as a front desk assistant, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in the salon environment. After graduating in 2024, she started her full-time assistant program building a strong foundation & taking hands-on classes. In December of 2025, she transitioned to a full-time hairstylist. Olivia loves blondes, grey coverage/grey blending, and making sure everyone's experience is completely customized to them. She loves to make every guest feel confident, refreshed, and beautiful when they leave her chair. When Olivia's not behind the chair, she enjoys spending time socializing with her best friends, snowboarding, and spending time relaxing at her family lake house on Lake Michigan. She loves building genuine connections with her clients and can't wait to welcome you into her chair.

Meet Claira! Claira's passion for hair started at a young age, becoming inspired by her older sister's work. She has been a hairstylist in Carmel since 2020 and joined Catbird Seat Salon in early 2021. She specializes in vivid reds, dark dimensional colors, textured and curly cuts, wedding/event hair, and can offers tape-in extensions, as well. Claira loves helping others bring out their natural beauty and becoming a friend with anyone in her chair! She is currently taking new clients in her chair.

Meet Kara! She went to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis before continuing her career with the amazing team of stylists at Catbird Seat Salon. She specializes in blondes, lived in color, and balayage. Kara has always been passionate about making her client's hair dreams become a reality through her perfectionism, attentiveness, and understanding of the client's wants and needs! Kara loves doing continuing education to stay current on all the new and exciting trends/techniques and keep things fun and fresh for all her lovely guests. Her attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction makes her a sought-after stylist in the Indianapolis and Carmel area.

Meet Emily! She has been doing hair since 2021 and has loved every single second. Emily loves to work with blonding and dimensional color. Emily loves lived in color, but has always had a sweet spot for a maximum to the root blonde session. Her main focus is finding the perfect color that suits each client's complexion and lifestyle.

When Emily isn’t in the salon you can find her with her 3 cats, reading, home decorating, going to theme parks, or spending as much time as possible with family. She loves to talk about the latest books with her clients, and keeps up with all of the reality tv and competition shows.
